TOTP Authenticator

The Securosys Authorization App provides a TOTP authenticator. It works like any standard TOTP app: after an account has been initialized using a shared symmetric secret, codes are shown that change every 30 seconds and that can be copied by clicking.

Notably, the authenticator supports both 6 and 8 digit code lengths.

Authenticator Management

Click the + button in the bottom right to add a new account. It's possible to add your account either by scanning a QR code or by manually entering the values.

QR Scanning

1. Click on the + button and select Scan a QR Code.
2. Scan the QR code or exit using the X button.
3. After successfully scanning the QR, the authenticator account will be shown on the authenticator page.

Manual Entry

1. Click on the + button and select Manual Entry.
2. Enter the required parameters: Label, Secret in Base32 format, and OTP Length
3. Optionally enter an Issuer name
4. Click SAVE to add the authenticator account or CANCEL or X in the top right to return to the previous page.
