Quickstart

The steps to set up the Securosys encryption plugin for MariaDB are as follows:

1. Install MariaDB and the Securosys encryption plugin.
2. Set the config options to:
   1. Connect the plugin to an HSM.
   2. Select the root key the plugin should use.
   3. Enable encryption in MariaDB, triggering existing tables to be encrypted.
